Two You Tube videos made by Sky Media as part of a team building / sales development programme
Teams were taken into a studio for the day and wrote / recorded a song irrespective of their musical talents
After this, teams devised an executed a sales and marketing strategy to 'sell' their songs, although there is no 'profit' or 'prize', just the fun of seeing how many downloads they could achieve
There are two songs here, one vageuly reminiscent of Lilly Allen and another a curious mixture of 'Marc Almond and the Cheeky Girls'

There are some new resources in 'My Resources' section:
A detailed report on Best Practice in the field of Learning Organisations - although the report is a few years old I was surprised at how relevant the lessons still are in terms of organisation and business development.
Some new reviews of 'Sex, Leadership and Rock'n'Roll' - the book that fuses business wisdom with rock and pop culture - A review from Chartered Management Institute and one from the Chartered Institute of Business Consultants - very respectable!! :-))
We have some public appearances coming up:
CIPD Kent - where we present the highlights of 'Harrogate' - Feb 28th in Maidstone - Free entry - 6.30 pm - details at www.cipd.co.uk/branch/kent/events
HR Network Scotland Conference - 13/14 Feb - details at www.hrnetworkscotland.co.uk/conference/programmeDay2.html

I went to a bizarre meeting of Gordon Brown lookalikes yesterday in a Mayfair Hotel with Alison Jackson, who makes the short film sequences for Bremner, Bird and Fortune. After application of tons of makeup, large eyebrows etc. I still felt I was me... Although I was caught later on 'hanging around outside Downing Street' asking if anyone wanted to buy a bank that was going cheap!
The BBC covered the story - it's at http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7186807.stm
You can see the gory evidence in the file area in my resources. Obviously this picture dates from the persiod when Gordon thought that he could gain leadership qualities by copying his predecessor and learning to play rock guitar!
